Thank you for visiting during American Education Week! Across the country, schools celebrated excellence in education by hosting kickoff events and activities for American Education Week. The staff and students truly enjoyed having you join in on their learning.

Bryant Woods ES will be holding parent/teacher conferences this Monday, 11/19 - Wednesday, 11/21. Research shows that students learn more, have higher grades, and have better school attendance when parents are involved in their child’s education. Parent-teacher conferences are a great opportunity for families to sit down one-on-one with your child's teacher and talk about his/her academic performance, as well as the teacher’s expectations. When families know what is expected in the classroom, they can more easily support their child’s learning at home. By attending conferences, you also send a positive message to your child that school is important.  Please keep in mind that you are an equal partner at the conference.  If you have questions or observations, the conference is a good time to share them with the teacher.
